Questions shop owners ask

Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Up to 100 products on one device, with billing, stock, khata and returns, for as long as you like. No card is asked for. When you need more products, more devices, staff logins or accounting, move to Pro.
Do I need to buy a billing machine?
No. QuickBills runs in the Chrome browser on the phone, tablet, laptop or computer you already have. Add a barcode scanner and a thermal printer when you want them; both are inexpensive and you may already own them.
Which scanners and printers work?
Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types like a keyboard, or the camera of an Android phone or tablet. For bills, 58 mm and 80 mm thermal printers: over Wi-Fi or a network cable, by USB on a Windows computer, or by Bluetooth from Chrome on Android. Printers built into Android billing machines (such as Sunmi or iMin) do not work yet.
Can I bring in my product list?
Yes. Save your list from Excel, Google Sheets or your old software as a CSV file and import it: QuickBills reads the name, barcode, MRP, GST rate, HSN, cost and stock columns, and there is a template to start from.
Do my prices include GST?
Yes, the way shops price: you enter the MRP, and the bill shows the GST inside it, split into CGST and SGST.
Does QuickBills message my customers?
Only from your own phone. Bills and khata reminders open your WhatsApp with the message ready, and you press send, so customers see your number, not ours.
What if I stop paying for Pro?
Your shop moves back to Free. Nothing is deleted: your products, bills and khata stay, and Pro’s screens open again when you pay.
Will you help me set up?
The app guides you through products, scanner and printer. If you are on Pro or Business and want a person to help, ask for a paid setup session from the Contact page.
